why a temporary setback means a major comeback

The Bridge has helped women lead healthier and happier lives for nearly 100 years.

The last few months have been extremely difficult for us all, and it has been more important to us that ever that we continue support women during the crisis with access to our fitness trainers, art for members of our RISE community and our food-box scheme.

The Government has announced that, subject to satisfying safety requirements, gyms can re-open.

We believe it is vitally important that we do not increase the risk of transmission of this virus to our community, our gym members, friends and staff, not least because good health is at the root of everything we do. For this reason, we feel it is necessary to keep the gym closed until such time as we have modified our facilities in line with the latest government guidance and we feel it is safe for everyone to return.

We have some good news: We’ve invested in new equipment and have been updating our facilities whilst we’ve been closed, and made significant improvements for the benefit of our gym members so when we reopen, your gym will be greatly improved. Our instructors are raring to go!

We cannot wait to see all our friends and members again, and we hope you will support our brave decision at this difficult time.
